Home to CHaSS 2022

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences celebrated Utah State University’s 2022 Homecoming with friends and family while enjoying barbecue, catching up with faculty, and playing games on a gorgeous fall day.

Following a 2-year hiatus, CHaSS was able to resume its Home to CHaSS event on the Education lawn of USU’s Logan campus, and unlike in 2019, no umbrellas were required.

Booths from thirteen CHaSS departments and units flanked a seating area and catered lunch. Alumni, students, and employees enjoyed face painting, monster sculpting, and playing traditional games from other cultures. This year’s event also featured inflatable axe throwing.

Roughly 200 alumni, students, and staff enjoyed this year’s Home to CHaSS before USU’s Homecoming culminated in the football game, which saw the Aggies score a victory over the Air Force Falcons. Other CHaSS Homecoming events included Cup of Joe with Joe and Donuts with Department Heads on Wednesday followed by a history alumni panel moderated by Emeritus Professor Ross Peterson and CHaSS’ annual Mocktail and Mingle event on Friday.
