International Studies

Multi-Disciplinary Study

Study global problems, develop language and intercultural skills and gain a solid understanding of global circumstances as you learn to make informed judgments regarding complex international and global issues. This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation by exposing them to international politics, history, anthropology, geography, and economics.

International Experience Update for IS Majors

For students graduating beginning Summer 2023 and later, the International Experience (i.e. Internships, Study Abroad) will no longer be automatically waived as COVID protocols for international travel continue to relax.  Students with specific concerns about how to incorporate an international experience into their program of study can consult with the Political Science Department Head.
