Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate Research is a hallmark of Utah State University, which was recognized for Best Undergraduate Research Program in the Nation in 2021.

In the Department of English, students engage in course-based and independent research, curate exhibitions, co-author articles with faculty, receive summer research grants, and present and publish. Funding for travel for research or presentations is possible. Students who have engaged in research may apply for the Undergraduate Research transcript designation. Outstanding student researchers win department, college, and university awards.
