Top of Utah Museum Week Kickoff on the Quad
Cultural
Join your USU museums on the northeast corner of the Quad to celebrate museums in northern Utah. Museums from around campus will share information about special programming and ways to be involved in your campus museums. Take time to learn about the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art, which cares for more than 5,500 objects related to modern and contemporary art of the American West; find out what the Intermountain Herbarium offers students through its extensive digital and physical collection of botanical specimens from around the world; learn more about the specimens preserved at the USU Geology Museum; enjoy talking with members of the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum; and finally discover opportunities for research using the Museum of Anthropology's global collection of objects.

We at CHaSS have always tried to prepare our students for the future with a strong education ?— but also with practical career advice. Cherie Mockli is a Licensed Social Worker and will be offering her advice and answering questions for students.

Pre-Law Series: Personal Statements Workshop

The CHaSS Outreach Coordinator and Pre-Law Advisor are teaming up to bring you a series of conversations with alumni working in legal careers. Join us each month as we explore various opportunities and aspects of the legal profession. All USU students, faculty, and staff are welcome!
On Tuesday, September 28 we’ll focus on writing personal statements for law school applications with CHaSS alum, Nate Alder (HIST ’91), an experienced litigator and trial attorney.
Join us as we provide important tips to help you prepare for the law school application process. We’ll also share opportunities for ongoing mentorship. If you’re thinking about law school, don’t miss this event!
