Join us at the USU Museum of Anthropology for our monthly Family First Saturday, a family friendly event with crafts and learning about all things anthropology! For our October event come learn about ghost stories from all around the world, make spooky crafts, and learn about USU history on a ghost tour through Old Main and Ray B. West.

Meet in the Museum of Anthropology (OM 252) to take ghost tours of Old Main and Ray B. West. Hear about the legends associated with these buildings, then return to the museum for cookies and a discussion on the anthropology and folklore of ghost stories!
Negotiating Waiting in Britain: Indian Travelling Ayahs at the Heart of the Empire
Lecture/Readings
Dr. Arunima Datta (University of North Texas) will present a Tanner Talk on her new book, Waiting on Empire: A History of Indian Travelling Ayahs in Britain. Dr. Datta is an award-winning scholar of British Empire and Asian (South and Southeast Asian) history. In her research and teaching, she constantly explores the everyday experiences of labor migrants within the context of the British Empire.
