Overview

Studying Russian at USU will be more than just speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students also take literature courses where they can better understand the human condition, and culture courses where students will learn the traditions and perspectives of Russian-speaking communities.

Career Application

With a degree in Russian, graduates will be able to pursue many careers on an international scale. This program may allow you to seek employment as a translator, customs worker, or with companies dealing with international business or development.

Slavic Club

Explore the culture of Russia through service and social events where you can interact with other students of Russian during cultural activities.

Study Abroad

Study languages in their native contexts and gain greater understanding of the ways that language influences populations and cultures.

TALC Language Labs

Studying language at USU? Visit the Technology Assisted Language Center to print assignments, visit with tutors, and read native language media.
