TALC Language Labs

 

While studying languages at USU, students have access to a language lab that aims to help foreign languages students gain competency in conversation, reading and writing. The lab has a collection of language media such as books, magazines, and videos, as well as computers that have their chosen language's keyboard and spell check available. Students can also get help with starting on Quizlet, Duolingo, Memrise, and other such programs.

The Language Lab is also a meeting space for students and world languages tutors. Our department provides tutors to support students of a variety of languages, including French, German, Chinese, and Spanish. Talk with your instructor to find out which tutor has been assigned to your course and the hours they are available.
