Overview

Studying French at USU will be more than just speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students also take literature courses where they can better understand the human condition, and culture courses where students will learn the traditions and perspectives of French-speaking communities.

Real World Application

With a degree in French, graduates will be able to pursue many careers on an international scale. This program may allow you to seek employment as a translator, customs worker, or with companies dealing with international business or development.

Study languages in their native contexts and gain greater understanding of the ways that language influences populations and cultures.

TALC Language Lab

Studying language at USU? Visit the Technology Assisted Language Center to print assignments, visit with tutors, and read native language media.

The French Club

The French Club at USU provides a place where French students can spend time with one another while practicing their communication skills.
