Scholar of the Year

The Scholar of the Year Award is given each year to recognize and encourage excellence in scholarship and/or creative activities. Service and student activity involvement may also be considered in the selection process, but the main emphasis is on scholarly achievement. Nominees must be on schedule to receive a bachelor's degree at this year's commencement ceremony (meaning they completed their bachelor's degree the previous summer, fall or current spring).

The Doctoral Student of the Year is recognized at the CHaSS Awards Ceremony and will represent CHaSS in the annual Robins Award competition.

Nomination materials:

  • A one page, double spaced, nomination letter with an explanation as to why they are being nominated.

Nominations are due December 15 to the CHaSS Deans Office (338 OM) or via email to chass@usu.edu.
