Faculty Service Award

The Faculty Service Award will be given each year to recognize and emphasize excellence in service within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Other scholarly activities such as research and publication records may be considered in the selection process, but the main consideration will be on service, including that to the department, the college, the university, the community, and the professional world.

The Faculty Service Award winner will be recognized at the CHaSS Awards Ceremony and will represent the college in the annual Robins Award competition.

Nomination materials:

  • A letter of nomination from the department head or designee, which is no more than two single-spaced pages and addresses the criteria above
  • A three-page narrative that demonstrates the candidate’s qualifications for the award
  • Abbreviated CV related to the award’s criteria

Nominations are due December 15 to the CHaSS Deans Office (338 OM) or via email to chass@usu.edu.
