Biography

During more than a decade at USU, Andrea has received the CHaSS Outstanding Employee of the Year/Light of Old Main Award (2021), Master Remote Work Professional Certificate (2020), and the USU Employee of the Month (April 2018). She also successfully completed the Utah Division of Arts & Museums Change Leader Program (2013).

An Ohioan by birth and at heart, Andrea loves introducing people to Cincinnati chili, using cat memes to land jobs, and previously masquerading as “DJ Mitochondria,” which is how you can remember to pronounce her name. Her interests include cats, classical music performances, rock concerts, cats, modern art, traveling, and cats.
