Summer Greek

The Summer Greek program at USU provides students with the opportunity to learn a year's worth of ancient Greek in only seven weeks. By utilizing an updated version of Gareth Morgan's Lexis method, the class allows students to begin translating continuous passages of ancient Greek prose relatively quickly through targeted readings drawn from Herodotus, Lysias and Plato. Jointly sponsored with BYU, the program at USU is currently one of only two places in the world where students can gain such a rapid understanding of the language.
