Family First Saturday: Veteran's Day
Cultural
Join us at the USU Anthropology Museum to remember and honor Veteran's Day with our family-centered event Family First Saturday. Learn about the history and origins of Veteran's Day around the world, do crafts and activities, and explore a temporary exhibit from Bringing War Home, a project dedicated to sharing wartime objects and the stories that surround them.
Writing for the Public: CHaSS Faculty Perspectives
Panel Discussion/Presentation
Join a panel of CHaSS faculty to discuss how they write and disseminate their research for a wider public audience. Panelists include Dr. Avery Edenfield (CIGSR & Technical Communications & Rhetoric), Dr. Christy Glass (Sociology), Dr. Patrick Mason (History & Religious Studies), Dr. Lynne McNeill (English) and Dr. Charlie Huenemann (Philosophy). Light refreshments will be served.
