Biography

I am from Egypt, and my lifelong fascination with the English language led me to pursue a career in teaching English as a second language. Holding a Bachelor of Arts and Education from Ain Shams University in Cairo and furthering my studies in English at The American University in Cairo, I gained a strong foundation in language education. With experience as a teacher for both teenage students and adults in Egypt, I embarked on a transformative journey in 2022 when I was selected as a Fulbright Foreign Teaching Assistant at The University of Utah. This incredible opportunity broadened my horizons, allowing me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and immerse myself in different cultures. During my time as a Fulbright TA, I had the privilege of teaching Arabic at the university. Now I continue to share my passion for language education, and I teach Arabic here at USU. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and experimenting with cooking, as I believe these activities foster connections and cultural understanding. I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter at Utah State University, where I look forward to furthering my expertise through the MSLT program and sharing my culture with others while building meaningful relationships within the community.
