Mehdi Heravi Endowed Scholarship for Middle Eastern Languages

The Mehdi Heravi Endowed Scholarship for Middle Eastern Languages provides scholarship support for students studying Middle Eastern languages in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Qualifying languages, in order of the donor's priority, are Farsi (Persian), Arabic and then Turkish. Understanding that these languages are not consistently taught at USU, the donor requests that the funds be designated to students with a Linguistics minor and who are pursuing studies of the Middle East. Preferential consideration will be given to students in the Arabic Studies Minor.
