Carl T. Degener Memorial Scholarship
The Carl T. Degener Memorial Scholarship provides scholarship support for students majoring in German, French or Spanish in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- Applicants must be an academic major in German, French or Spanish.
- Applicant records must show a minimum of 9 upper-division credits toward the major taken at USU. (Excluding credit in 3880/4880/4920 courses or equivalent)
- Applicants must have a 3.7 or higher GPA in the major.
- Recipients must take at least one upper division class in their major and show satisfactory progress toward the degree during each semester of their senior year.
