Biography
Jasmine Yu-Hsing Chen specializes in contemporary Chinese and Sinophone theater, film, media, visual culture, and literature. Her first research agenda examines how theatrical and cinematic works challenge government-promoted nationalism. Her second research project inquiries novel media interventions in the performing arts. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors at the North American Taiwan Studies Association.
