In his Introduction to Composition Studies course, graduate student Zackary Gregory conducted a research project on the rhetoric of bikepacking journals. This research resulted in a publication in Bikepacking magazine, where Zackary detailed the adventurous experience of a bikepacking trip through Pueblo and Southern Paiute Land across Utah and Arizona. Bikepacking is an excursion similar to backpacking but on a bike.
In the article, Zackary provides a comprehensive guide about the Wolf Hole Mountain Overnighter route.
Zackary grew up next to the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. He’s currently a graduate student in the English Department, working summers as a bike mechanic at Go-Ride bicycles.
