Swenson Visiting Writer, Aimee Nezhukumatathil. Masterclass: Monday March 13 1:30-2:45 in Library 101 Reading: Tuesday March 14, 12:00-1:15 David B. Haight Alumni House. Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the author of the New York Times best-selling illustrated collection of nature essays and Kirkus Prize finalist, World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, & other Astonishments, which was chosen as Barnes and Noble's Book of the Year. She has four previous poetry collections: Oceanic, Lucky Fish, At the Drive-In Volcano, and Miracle Fruit. She is professor of English and Creative writing in the University Mississippi's MFA program.
