Freshman Ella Stott has been awarded a summer undergraduate research fellowship. Ella is currently focused on creative writing and will spend her summer working with Professor Jennifer Sinor. As a part of the fellowship, Ella plans to begin editing her book That Doesn’t Sound Like Him, the first draft of which won second place in the Utah Original Writing Competition in the Creative Nonfiction Book category. Of her summer plans, Ella says, “Dr. Sinor is going to help me with the editing process and choosing sections of the book to submit to literary magazines and journals by the end of the summer.”
