Charles Waugh is the co-translator of 3 books of vietnamese fiction, including the novel the Termite Queen (Penguin Random House SEA, 2023) with Quan Manh Ha. He was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Literary Translation Grant, a Rockefeller Grant for Family of Fallen Leaves, and a Fullbright Fellowship to teach at Vietnam National University in 2004 and 2005. In addition to teaching at USU, he is associate Editor for Fiction at ISLE, the journal of the Association for the Study of Literature nd Environment.
