Basil Payne’s Creating Sensory Poetry Exhibit

From February 12th through 16th, English Department undergraduate Basil Payne exhibited their artistic and poetic work titled “Creating Sensory Poetry: An Accessible Exhibit and Workshop” in USU’s Project Gallery. This project was sponsored in part by an Undergraduate Research and Creative Opportunities grant as well as an Impact Initiative grant, both awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Research. It was also supported by the English Department. Basil’s work began the previous year as part of a USU Research Symposium project, which then developed into a summer Peak Fellowship. Basil is the 2024 CHaSS Undergraduate Researcher of the Year.
