Jon D. Lee, who graduated from the USU master’s program in Folklore in 2001, has just published an article in The Atlantic, “The Utter Familiarity of Even the Strangest Vaccine Conspiracy Theories.” In addition to his USU degree, Dr. Lee holds an MFA in poetry from Lesley University, and a Ph.D. in Folklore from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is an instructor at Suffolk University. He is the author of An Epidemic of Rumors, which examines the human response to epidemics over time, as well as two books of poetry.
