Biography
Robert King retired in 2024 after a career as a lecturer in the English Department. As a first-generation college student, Robert King found higher education a challenging yet transforming experience. To help others enjoy a transforming experience, he served as an Aggie First Scholars advisor. From Composition to American Literature classes, his goal in teaching was to help students connect their own experiences to the literature and to enjoy writing as an act of discovery--both self-discovery and insights into the world around us.
