Rachel Quistberg

Biography

Rachel Quistberg joined the English department as a lecturer in 2014. She specializes in teaching first-year writing, including English 1010, Introduction to Writing: Academic Prose, and English 2010, Intermediate Writing: Research Writing in a Persuasive Mode. In addition to first-year writing, Rachel also teaches Understanding Literature, Elements of Grammar, and Introduction to Shakespeare. Rachel serves as the Associate Director of Composition, where she assists in mentoring Graduate Instructors as they teach English 1010 and English 2010. As an educator, Rachel focuses on creating spaces where students are both valued and empowered.
