Steve Shively

Biography

Dr. Shively served for 21 years on the Board of Governors of the Willa Cather Foundation, a passionate group of individuals dedicated to promoting the life, times, and work of Willa Cather, and he remains active in the work of the Foundation. He joined the USU English faculty in 2007, teaching English Education, Classical Mythology, and American Literature courses, retiring in 2019 to return to Nebraska. His books include Teaching the Work of Willa Cather, and he has edited the Willa Cather Review.
