Keith Grant-Davie

Biography

Keith Grant-Davie taught rhetorical theory, editing, and online education, serving students in the department’s PhD program in Technical Communication and Rhetoric, its online Master of Technical Communication program, and its undergraduate Professional & Technical Writing track within the English major. He served as Graduate Advisor for 12 years. Joining the USU faculty in 1991 and retiring in 2021, his research interests focused on the rhetoric of apology, the rhetoric of silence, crisis communication, graduate education, and the pedagogy of online education. His books include Online Education: Global Questions, Local Answers and a follow-up edition, Online Education 2.0: Evolving, Adapting, and Reinventing Online Technical Communication.
