Charles Waugh is the translator and editor of two anthologies of Vietnamese short stories, Wild Mustard (Curbstone, 2017) and Family of Fallen Leaves (Georgia UP, 2010). His stories, essays, and critical academic work center on Vietnam's culture and environment and Americans' experiences there. He is also the fiction editor of the journal Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and the Environment.
Professor Waugh directs fiction theses and serves on creative theses of all genres. He is also available to serve on literature and culture theses that involve translation, ecocriticism, war films and literature, and contemporary fiction.
