Biography
Amber Caron is the author of the story collection Call Up the Waters (Milkweed Editions, 2023) and an assistant fiction editor at AGNI. Her stories explore issues of class, gender, labor, and the environment, and have appeared in numerous literary magazines, including PEN America Best Debut Short Stories, The Threepenny Review, Story, Bennington Review, and Southwest Review. In addition to teaching courses on fiction writing and contemporary literature, she directs fiction theses and serves on creative writing theses of all genres.
