Biography
As a museum-based archaeologist, Dr. Riley has a number of interests centered around public outreach and education, artifact conservation and care, actualistic/experimental archaeology, and integrating objects with lost context into the scientific record of past human activity in eastern Utah. Trained as a paleoethnobotanist and palynologist, he is primarily interested in the intersection of plant communities and human material culture.
