Biography
Jason joined the department in 2018. He received his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Jason worked as a prosecutor in Arizona. He worked regularly in the areas of drug interdiction, arson, and medical marijuana. His research has largely followed those areas of expertise, focusing on the history of prosecution, medical marijuana, and citizen perceptions of law enforcement.
