Bridging Areas of Social Work Practice
TCI seeks to help both current social work students and practitioners recognize and gain greater appreciation of the intersectionality of all levels of practice as they work to support community projects that build knowledge and create solutions for local social issues. We do this through the dissemination of training and resource materials that highlight and reinforce a holistic case-to-cause approach of generalist social work practice in the form of continuing education trainings, course instruction at both the BSW and MSW levels, and in an upcoming series of practitioner focused podcasts. We believe that more intentional application of the case-to-cause practice model by individuals and collectives can result in greater well-being of individuals and communities.
