USU Social Work Students and Alumni Defend DACA

USU Social Work students and alumni demonstrated support for Dreamers and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program on September 12, 2017 in Logan, UT. The current administration has announced plans to end the DACA program, putting 800,000 individuals at risk of deportation. The National Association for Social Workers and the Council on Social Work Education have each made strong statements that defend DACA and call on social workers to get involved in local and national activities to protect DACA. We’re proud of our students who are stepping up to the challenge in Utah.
