Biography

Susan Cutler Egbert, PhD, LCSW is clinical professor, MSW Program Director, and Statewide Campus MSW Program Director. She is passionate about improving the wellbeing of vulnerable people through social work practice, leadership, and scholarship.

Teaching Interests

Susan teaches across the social work curriculum with a focus on field practicum, social work values and ethics; human behavior in the social environment; practice with individuals, families, groups and communities; policy; and research.

Research Interests

Child welfare systems change: Foster care and Adoption
Pedagogy: (1) Team teaching and distance development/delivery of social work education. (2) Field education.
