Biography
Nate received his B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature with a Minor in Family Studies from Weber State University in 2000. He completed his MSW Degree at the University of Utah in 2004 and his MBA degree at the University of Phoenix in 2008. Nate completed his Ph.D. in Social Work at the University of Utah in 2016. Prior to joining the USU Social Work faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Nate served as the Mental Health Director and Lead Clinician at the Midtown Community Health Center in Ogden, Utah for 15 years. Nate enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing sports and being in the outdoors, speaking Spanish, and studying Stoic and Zen philosophies.
