Dr. Martinez-Cola, along with Dr. Ryan Knowles, was recently awarded the RC Catalyst SEED grant from the Office of Research. They received 20K to begin work on a project called The Bricks Before Brown (B3) Digital Map based on Dr. Martinez-Cola's research on school desegregation cases that occurred before the famed Brown v.
