Visit from Dr. Mark Brennan

Mark Brennan

Dr. Mark Brennan, Professor and UNESCO Chair of Rural Community, Leadership, and Youth Development at Penn State University, visited the SSWA Department for a few days in April. His seminar explored UNESCO’s involvement in youth development in communities around the world. He also taught Dr. Flint’s Environmental & Natural Resource Sociology Course and offered a workshop for undergraduate students on youth community engagement and asset-based methods. Great creative thinking and fun was had by all.
