Biography

Madison is a graduate student in the MS of sociology program at USU with an emphasis on gender inequality. She works as a graduate teaching and research assistant within the Sociology department and loves to actively learn in any position she’s in. As a lifelong learner and passionate advocate for intersectional equity in personal, professional, societal, and environmental aspects of life, Madison hopes to make a difference in the world through research and teaching. She has special interests in motherhood and unpaid care labor, as well as social roles and race and ethnicity. Madison says that she “owes a big thanks to her advisor and mentor, Dr. Christy Glass and all the faculty and staff in the Sociology department for the continuous support and knowledge they provide.”
