Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha is the only honors society in the United States dedicated to students of political science and government. USU's Alpha Iota chapter has been recognized several times as one of Pi Sigma Alpha's best chapters in the nation.

To join, students must have 12 credit hours of POLS with a department GPA of at least 3.2.

Join Pi Sigma Alpha - Alpha Iota Chapter

Joining is a two-step process: (1) application form, and (2) payment. Both steps are required to join this club.

Step 1: Application Form

Applicant Information
Include the A with the number.
Include your @usu.edu email address.
Educational Information

Please list the following:

  1. Political Science courses you have taken
  2. Grade you received in each course
  3. Number of credits hours earned
You must have completed 12 hours of Political Science courses and carried a department GPA of at least 3.2.

If you have questions about what courses count, or do not have enough credits but are still interested, please email emily.macdonald@usu.edu.
