The Café

A warm welcome

Description

With its warm atmosphere and warmer drinks, the center's main lobby café serves up coffee and other beverages as well as several snacks stocked by Utah State University Dining Services. The refreshments on offer have an international flair and won’t be available elsewhere on campus. Its location in the lobby and next to a large glass window facing the east courtyard means that the area is welcoming, highly visible, and perfect for lunches, casual visits, and studying.

Location

Students coming from the Quad will enter through doors leading directly to the café — a highly visible location for anyone visiting the building. Situated in the northeast corner of the building, patrons will have picturesque views and a window to the happenings on the quad.

The café will be an important addition to this side of campus. Other buildings on the southwest side of the Quad, such as Old Main and Ray B. West, lack cafés or other food offerings. Not only will language students be able to access the food offered here, but the café will draw people in from surrounding buildings and increase opportunities for social and cultural interactions.

a drafty drawing of the cafe, many chairs linelong tables that flank the outside edge of the room, the center fo the room has small tables and a couple of couches.
