Screw-up of the year
The Eagle student newspaper has been in production since 1937 as the college voice on the Price campus. Although the university progressed through three names: Carbon College, College of Eastern Utah and now Utah State University Eastern, the newspaper continues to be the student’s voice that covers news, opinion, arts and sports bimonthly on the USU Eastern campus. The Eagle involves students from all majors in its program and wins numerous awards in state, regional and national competitions. Students earn up to three-credit hours for being on staff (JCOM 1040, 1050, 2070, 2080, 2988). To view the newspaper, visit www.usueasterneagle.com.
