Event to feature author and Associate Professor of International Cultural Studies at BYU-Hawaii Chad Ford

The Global Peacebuilding Certificate program at USU is happy to host Chad Ford, an international conflict mediator, sportswriter, and college professor for an April residency. Perhaps best known for his work at ESPN in covering the NBA, Chad's real passion is working for a peaceful world. With generous funding from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Tanner Talks, Prof. Ford will present a public lecture and appear on Utah Public Radio's Access Utah program. He will also offer a faculty workshop and visit classes in History and Religious Studies. Copies of his book, Dangerous Love: Transforming Fear and Conflict at Home, at Work, and in the World, will be available for sale at the lecture.

The event will take place Thursday, April 7th from 4:30-6:30PM in Old Main 326. Refreshments will be provided.
