Biography
Kyle T. Bulthuis is Associate Professor of History, specializing in early American history, religion, race, and slavery. Bulthuis’s first book, Four Steeples over the City Streets: Religion and Society in New York’s Early Republic Congregations, appeared with NYU Press in 2014. His current research focuses on the social worlds of the first writers of the British black Atlantic.
