H. Bert Jenson

Biography

H. Bert Jenson began teaching at Utah State University in 1993 and rose to the rank of Associate Professor. He taught History and American Studies and held a Special Emphasis in Folklore. While teaching mostly US History, he also developed a popular Breadth Humanities class covering the History of Spain. Professor Jenson is a published writer in mostly local and State history. After 28 years of teaching, Professor Jenson retired in 2021. However, he continues to teach as an adjunct for the University, mostly out of love for his students. Bert is married to Diana Lynn, and they have raised a family of five children.
