Biography

Brendan Lee (he/him) is an educator and student affairs professional who started his position at Utah State University in November 2021. Prior to moving to Logan, Brendan completed a bachelor's degree in History at Utah Valley University ('18) and a pair of master's degrees in History ('20) and Higher Education ('22) at the University of Mississippi. His research focuses on the history of American education in the 19th-20th centuries, race, politics, memory, and educational theory. His forthcoming article explores the impact of the Truman Commission Report on Higher Education (1947) and the corresponding efforts to promote global citizenship at predominantly white colleges and universities in the post-World War II era. As an Academic Advisor and History Instructor, Brendan enjoys helping students make the best of their time in college through building experience inside and outside of the classroom. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with his loved ones.
