Madison Fjeldsted

Biography

Madison Fjeldsted Thompson is an Undergrad Research Fellow at USU and a senior in her Environmental Studies bachelor’s degree. She has been working with Dr. Courtney Flint on and off since 2017 on the Utah Wellbeing Project, the Social Ecology of Rivers Project, and the Santa Fe River and Watershed Assessment. Madison is particularly interested in the therapeutic aspects of nature. She plans to pursue a master’s in Sustainable Communities after graduation. She works also as a museum educator at the Museum of Ancient Life and the close by Butterfly Biosphere and loves every chance she gets to teach people about the natural world.
