New at USU: Medical Interpreter Certification

Course Overview:

This hybrid course is designed to equip students with necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient 
in medical interpretation and start working as an interpreter in Utah. This program is the first step towards
a national certification with the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) or the National
Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI). Participants will gain practical experience through
real-world scenarios, interactive exercises, and case studies.
