Commercial Marketing Internship | Myriad

About the Position

Myriad Genetics is proud to offer internships that create a meaningful work experience for students seeking fast-paced real-world work environment. Internships in Marketing are project-based, designed to provide opportunities to complete tangible deliverables over the course of the program, and interact with a broad set of stakeholders.  

Internships are part-time work (<20 hours per week) and are remote based. Access to high-speed internet and a quiet workspace is the responsibility of the applicant. 


The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Marketing Manager with the following:

  • Assist in tradeshow coordination
    • Prepare materials for distribution at tradeshow
    • Support promotional activities including but not limited to designing and copy writing ads, emails, internal communications
  • Collaborate in product launch activities according to established timelines
    • Assist with content development (e.g. sales materials, videos, customer testimonials) including copywriting and managing review/approval process
    • Interact with and manage marketing vendors to schedule meetings, manage purchasing orders, provide necessary support to complete work
  • Coordinate existing content review and re-branding
    • Review content database and propose updates
  • Assist with daily administrative duties


  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Biology
  • Relevant experience or coursework in the following: digital marketing, marketing strategy, sales, product management, project management, or biology
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, maintain excellent organization on all and prioritize effectively; attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to learn concepts and tasks quickly and accurately, not hesitating to ask for assistance when needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to converse effectively and regularly with various levels of management
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a remote environment
  • Computer Skills Required: Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
