Award Nominations

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences understands the importance of recognizing its faculty members, staff, and students for excellence in teaching, leadership, and service. We appreciate all that they do and their contributions to the greater USU community. Exceptional students, the faculty who inspire them, and the staff who make running the college possible are each crucial to our mission, and CHaSS is pleased to have the opportunity to recognize several remarkable individuals each year.

Nominate a first-rate student, staff, or faculty member. Learn more about the application process and find award descriptions below.

Nominations are due the on the second Friday in December each year to the CHaSS Dean’s Office (OM 338) or via email to chass@usu.edu.

With each nomination, we need the following materials

• A letter of nomination from the department head or designee, which is no more than two single-spaced pages and addresses the criteria for the award
• Abbreviated CV related to the award’s criteria
