Cade Taylor, creative writing undergraduate, recently published his poem,“Chameleon Mantra,”in the Festival for Poetry by WILDsound. “It's about hiding your queerness to stay safe, though it could easily be about any marginalized group that has to act in a certain way to survive the society they live in,” Cade says.

While scrolling Submittable, Cade said he chose to submit to the Festival for Poetry purely on a whim but that the experience has shown him “that my writing has a place in the world.”
